Meet the Doctor
Dr. Xuan Duong, DDS
Dr. Duong is a doctor of dental surgery who has been practicing dentistry since 2000. He provides a broad range of services including cosmetic and full mouth restorations. Dr. Duong was born in Vietnam and raised in Los Angeles, California where he attended UCLA graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to the Ohio State School of Dentistry, graduating in 1999. He then returned to California and completed a one year General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Loma Linda. Dr. Duong and his wife, Dr. Shannon Dang, opened Majestic Dental Practice in October of 2005. In March of 2007, he purchased a dental office in Auburn, California where he still practices two days a week. Dr. Duong is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society He specializes in complex cases both retorative and cosmetic and is passionate about helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. During his personal time, Dr. Duong enjoys traveling and watching his two favorite sports teams, the UCLA Bruins and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Dr. Shannon Dang, DDS
Dr. Dang is a doctor of dental surgery who has been practicing dentistry since 2000. She provides an array of preventive, restorative, and orthodontic services to both children and adults. Born in Vietnam and raised in San Jose, California, Dr. Dang attended San Jose State graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1993. She went on to attend the UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating in 1999. In October of 2005, she started Majestic Dental Practice here in Natomas with her husband, Dr. Xuan Duong. Dr. Dang is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, and is an Affiliate Member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She received a certification for Oral Conscious Sedation in May of 2000 and completed a two year post - graduate program of Progressive Orthodontic Seminars in February of 2012. Dr. Dang has a strong passion for pediatric dental care and loves helping her patients who are apprehensive to overcome their fears, receive the care they need and achieve beautiful healthy smiles for life. Outside of work, Dr. Dang enjoys spending time reading, traveling and exercising.
